Kiven Roberson is one of the most encouraging and inspiring people you will ever meet.  He is a native of Dallas , but currently resides in the Bayou City of Houston.  The oldest of four children, he continued a family legacy by becoming a graduate of “The Great James Madison High School” in Dallas , Texas

  He earned a B.A. from Huston-Tillotson University majoring in both Government and African –American Studies.  He also has a Master of Science from Texas Southern University in Transportation Planning and Management with an emphasis in Policy and Administration.

He has been employed by both Fortune 500 private and public sector organizations like BNSF, City of Austin, Riddle and Brown Law Firm, Haynes and Boone Attorneys and Counselors, Alief Independent School District, United Healthcare, United Parcel Service, and TREK, a Houston non-profit transportation management organization.

Recognizing his gift to encourage, in 2003, he formed Omega Movement Group, a company focused on helping organizations and individuals understand and apply one life lesson that he holds dear; “The life you have, isn’t the life you have to keep”.

Acknowledging his ability to relate to all students from elementary to college age, he has shared inspiration with students at Blackshear Elementary, Carter G. Wood Middle School in Houston, James Madison and H.G. Spruce in Dallas, and Huston-Tillotson University, Southern Methodist University, Baylor University, and American Intercontinental University in Houston, and Texas Southern University.

He has also had the opportunity to inspire and develop leadership at American Intercontinental University , Texas Southern University, Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway, and the City of Austin .

Kiven’s spoken words of inspiration and motivation have caused him to be featured in both the Dallas Morning News and the Austin American Statesmen.  His written words have found themselves on the pages of the African-American News and Issues and the D-Mars Business Journal where is also serves as a contributing writer.

He attends church at St. John on Dowling in Houston , Texas under the leadership of Dr. Terrance D. Grant-Malone.  There, he serves in the Young Adult Ministry of the and is active in the Men’s Ministry.  He is a committed member of the Huston-Tilloton University International Alumni - Houston Chapter.  He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity and a 32nd degree Prince Hall Mason.

When he is not providing motivation and encouragement to the current and next generation of leaders, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, reading and writing poetry, and performing spoken word.
